Assists in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas. Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed. Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manger. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.\n

Position Details:\n

Registered Nurse (RN) - Weekend Option Clinical Supervisor, 7W\n

\n

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

\n

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours/week

\n

Shift: Day Shift | Friday, Saturday, Sunday

\n

\n

Qualifications

\n

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

  • \n

    Associate Degree in Nursing

    • \n
  • \n

    Nursing Diploma

    • \n
  • \n

    Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

    • \n
\n

\n

Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

\n

\n

Experience: 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience

\n

\n

Certifications:

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

    • \n
\n

\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Education: BSN preferred

    • \n
  • \n

    Licensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience: Prior management experience - experience within change management

    • \n
\n

\n

Physical Requirements

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs. regularly

    • \n
  • \n

    Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift

    • \n
  • \n

    Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
