\nLocal journeyman electricians wanted for commercial and campus work in Bethesda, MD. This is hands-on, mid-level electrical service and repair: troubleshoot controls and power systems, replace motors and starters, work on transfer switches, UPS, generators and photovoltaic systems. You'll read ladder logic, diagrams and schematics, make new wiring hook-ups and upgrades, and support mechanical and electrical repairs. Pay range is $20-$58/hr. Must be able to work varying shifts including nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Russian and English speakers encouraged to apply.\n

What You'll Do\n
\n

\n
• Troubleshoot mid-level control and power electrical systems using schematics and ladder logic
\n
• Remove and replace motors, starters, relays, limit switches, fuses and primary control components
\n
• Install new wiring hook-ups, wireways and raceways; upgrade existing equipment and lighting systems
\n
• Assemble, inspect, adjust, repair or replace faulty parts and wiring on electrical and electronic devices
\n
• Support mechanical and electrical repairs for ATS, UPS/battery storage, emergency generators and photovoltaic systems
\n
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams and applicable Federal, State and local electrical codes
\n

What We're Looking For\n
\n

\n
• Journeyman-level experience in commercial electrical service and installation
\n
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics and ladder logic
\n
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills for electrical systems (safety, amps, wear and tear) and system troubleshooting
\n
• Experience with wireway/raceway installation, lighting installation, and selection/installation of overcurrent devices
\n
• Familiarity with generators, automatic transfer switches, UPS systems and medium/high voltage exposure
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• State Licensed Electrician (MD) - journeyman-level
\n
• Fluent in English and Russian
\n
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
\n
