Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans, delivering evidence-based therapy, maintaining detailed case records, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your work will directly empower students from kindergarten through high school, helping them overcome communication and language challenges.
Desired background and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Virginia SLP License (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience with K-12 populations preferred
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to manage a 40-hour, 5-day work week schedule on site or in a hybrid model
Key responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret speech/language assessments
- Develop and implement effective therapy plans for diverse caseloads
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and student support teams
- Document daily therapy sessions and progress notes
- Provide consultation to teachers and parents
