Step into a rewarding full-time contract role as a School Psychologist, providing essential support to students and staff for the entire school year. This position covers the period from September 1, 2026, through June 2027. You’ll work collaboratively within an educational environment, offering expertise in assessment, counseling, and intervention services.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Proven experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Competence in providing both individual and group counseling
  • Knowledgeable about multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and special education processes
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations using a variety of assessment tools
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to support student learning and well-being
  • Lead and participate in problem-solving meetings and crisis intervention when necessary
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
  • Assist with the development and implementation of positive behavioral interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold student confidentiality at all times
