School Psychologist in Fairport, NY

Step into a rewarding full-time contract role as a School Psychologist, providing essential support to students and staff for the entire school year. This position covers the period from September 1, 2026, through June 2027. Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
• Proven experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
• Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
• Competence in providing both individual and group counseling
• Knowledgeable about multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and special education processes
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations using a variety of assessment tools
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to support student learning and well-being
• Lead and participate in problem-solving meetings and crisis intervention when necessary
• Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
• Assist with the development and implementation of positive behavioral interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold student confidentiality at all times
