There are two onsite positions available, each set in a different educational setting and covering distinct assignment dates—one at a local high school (August 27, 2026–March 2027) and another at an elementary/middle school (October 20, 2026–January 18, 2027). Both positions provide a stable 35-hour workweek, offering a consistent schedule ideal for experienced professionals with a current Connecticut School Psychologist License.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Connecticut School Psychologist License (required)
- Demonstrated experience in a school setting, with strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive intervention and support plans
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities, working effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments, interpret results, and develop student support recommendations
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students, addressing academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
- Participate in crisis intervention, prevention, and behavioral management initiatives within the school community
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with local and federal guidelines
