Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Connecticut School Psychologist License
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school-based environment
- Skilled in conducting assessments, developing interventions, and guiding educational staff
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work onsite and effectively coordinate support for multiple students
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate, confidential documentation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to support student learning and development
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
- Provide counseling and intervention services for students with academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise in student evaluation, progress, and planning
- Support crisis intervention and promote positive, inclusive school environments
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation aligned with state and school policies
- Assignments include working at Bristol Central High School from late August 2026 through March 2027, and West Bristol School from October 2026 through January 2027
