Qualifications
- Active and valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathology License
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience supporting K–12th grade students is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfort with technology for hybrid caseload management
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for K–12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and allied professionals to advocate for students’ needs
- Document and track treatment progress in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Provide direct therapy services both on-site and/or virtually, depending on assigned caseload
- Offer training and support for school staff and parents as needed
