Workify Staffing is seeking experienced Pipe Welders for an exciting carbon steel pipe fabrication project in the Bloomfield, NM area! LOCALS PREFERRED!!

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale shop fabrication project where your welding expertise will be utilized on pipe systems ranging from 6 inches up to 20 inches in diameter. If you have 3+ years of pipe welding experience, a valid 6G welding certification, and are ready for your next opportunity, we want to hear from you!

Compensation & Schedule

Pay: Up to $40/hour depending on weld test results.
Per Diem: $150/day worked for highly qualified welders
Schedule: Typically 5 days per week
Shift: 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Project Start: Beginning within the next couple of weeks

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding on a large carbon steel pipe fabrication project in a shop environment.
\n • Fabricate, fit, and weld carbon steel pipe systems ranging from 6-inch to 20-inch diameter pipe.
\n • Use grinders and related tools to prepare, bevel, and finish welds to specification.
\n • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, work orders, and project details.
\n • Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and compliance.
\n • Make repairs and corrections when necessary.
\n • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
\n • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pipe welding experience required.
\n • Valid 6G welding certification required.
\n • Strong experience welding carbon steel pipe in fabrication or industrial settings.
\n • Carbon Steel Pulse Arc Mig Welding, GMAW & GTAW b31.1, B31.3, B31.8 and B31.9. 85/15 mix. Welding 20" and 8" STD Wall
\n • Must provide or be familiar with personal welding tools, welding hood, PPE, and related equipment.
\n • OSHA 10 Certification is a plus but not required.
\n • Must pass a 7-panel drug screen before placement.
\n • English and Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.
\n • Local candidates preferred; travel assistance or per diem may be considered based on qualifications and distance.
