Step into a rewarding remote opportunity as a School Psychologist, delivering crucial support to a small, close-knit educational community in Minnesota. In this contract, virtual role, you will partner with a school that values a streamlined, collaborative approach—leveraging experience with virtual service providers for SLP, OT, and PT. This part-time position (approximately 10 hours per week) is set to run from September 8th through May 28th.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations, including known cases due in the spring and anticipated assessments for incoming kindergarten students.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and the school's existing special education team to create and implement effective, individualized support plans.
  • Work entirely remotely, utilizing digital platforms to communicate with students, staff, and parents.
  • Provide documentation, reporting, and compliance with Minnesota standards, ensuring every student receives optimal support.
  • Help shape a positive, supportive special education environment in a small school context, serving approximately 100 students receiving special education services.

Desired skills and background:

  • Minnesota licensure as a School Psychologist (required).
  • Professional liability insurance (required to begin).
  • Previous experience working in a virtual/remote service provider role strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with conducting virtual assessments and navigating digital collaboration tools.
  • Ability to build relationships and deliver compassionate, effective services virtually.
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
