Seeking skilled School Psychologists to support student success through comprehensive assessment, intervention, and consultation services within an energetic educational environment. These contract opportunities, both located near Hartford, CT, offer engagement in diverse school communities during the academic year.

Multiple positions are open, with roles available at both a high school and an elementary/middle school campus. Each assignment allows you to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute your knowledge of psychological best practices, and make a direct impact on student achievement and well-being.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active Connecticut School Psychologist License (required)
  • Previous experience as a school psychologist, preferably in a K-12 setting
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with IEP development, special education law, and MTSS interventions
  • Effective communication and collaborative problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
  • Collaborate with special education teams to develop and implement IEPs
  • Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention for students
  • Consult with educators, administrators, and families to address student needs
  • Support the development of behavioral interventions and academic supports
  • Participate actively in school-wide initiatives and meetings
