Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist providing either hybrid or in-person services. This contract opportunity lets you work close to Courtland, VA, with a primary focus on supporting communication development and student success within a school environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP License required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with K-12 students is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct and consultative speech/language services in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ progress
- Maintain thorough student records and document services in compliance with school and state standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input for student planning
This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 40 hours per week. You’ll have the opportunity to select a hybrid or fully in-person model, catering to your preferred working style.
