Role: Licensed NCCER/Journeyman Electrician

Location: Brownsville, TX

\n

Employment Type: 13 week W2 Contract to full-time hire (must be willing to permanently relocate to Brownsville, TX)

\n

Compensation:

\n

$38/hour - dayshift

\n

$40/hour - nightshift

\n

Per Diem: Available for those traveling in from 80+ miles away

\n

Hours: 50 hours/week

\n

Shift: Day and Night Shift Available

\n

Requirements:

\n
    \n
  • Must be an active Licensced Journeyman or NCCER Electrician
  • \n
  • Experience as an Industrial or Commercial Electrician required (residential experience alone is not sufficient).
  • \n
  • Strong experience with EMT, rigid conduit, conduit bending, cable trays, wire pulling, and electrical terminations.
  • \n
  • Experience with electrical demolition, teardown, or retrofit projects preferred.
  • \n
  • Underground PVC installation experience is a plus.
  • \n
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot in the field.
  • \n
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor industrial environment.
  • \n
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, schedule-driven construction environment.
  • \n
  • Willingness to work a 5x10 schedule with overtime and weekends as needed.
  • \n
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilites:

    \n
  • Perform electrical demolition, removal, disassembly, and teardown of existing electrical infrastructure.
  • \n
  • Remove and dismantle conduit, cable trays, electrical terminations, and pad electrical hardware.
  • \n
  • Install, modify, and remove EMT, rigid conduit, cable trays, and associated electrical systems.
  • \n
  • Pull wire, complete terminations, and support electrical infrastructure modifications.
  • \n
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts to complete assigned work.
  • \n
  • Work safely in an industrial construction environment while following all applicable safety standards.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with electricians, supervisors, and project teams to meet aggressive project schedules.
  • \n
  • Support critical infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
  • \n
  • Work overtime and weekends as required to meet project milestones.
  • \n
