Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid WA SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- WA Teaching Certificate, or the ability to obtain one if required
- Experience in a school setting serving high school-aged students is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat high school students with various speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Develop and deliver engaging therapy sessions that support students’ academic success
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with state and district guidelines
- Provide consultative support to school staff and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
