Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain one.
- Prior experience working within a K-12 setting is preferred.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Proficient in developing and implementing intervention strategies.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement interventions to address student concerns.
- Consult with teachers and administrators regarding academic and behavioral strategies.
- Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district guidelines.
