Two exciting onsite contract opportunities are available for skilled professionals interested in fostering student success and supporting school teams near Bristol, CT. These roles offer the chance to work in dynamic school environments while collaborating closely with staff, students, and families.

Your assignment will include:

  • Providing direct support at Bristol Central High School from late August 2026 to March 2027 (1 position)
  • Supporting West Bristol School from late October 2026 to mid-January 2027 (1 position)
  • Both roles offer a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week within a friendly, student-centered atmosphere.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active Connecticut School Psychologist license required
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Previous school-based experience is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to perform assessments, develop interventions, and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Comfortable working onsite and engaging personally with students, faculty, and parents

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and behavioral assessments
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents to develop and implement strategies to help students succeed
  • Offer counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Provide input for IEP meetings and support compliance with special education guidelines
  • Promote a positive, inclusive school climate and student well-being
