Maintenance Welder
Southwestern Wire, Inc., a leading producer of chain link fencing & steel wire products, nationwide, is seeking a MAINTENANCE WELDER for work in manufacturing and industrial environments. Pay includes incentive.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Perform maintenance welding on equipment, structures, and piping systems using a variety of welding techniques.
- Understand technical drawings, specifications, and welding symbols to determine project requirements.
- Prepare and adjust welding machines (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) according to material and thickness.
- Fabricate parts, components, and assemblies from metal using welding and cutting tools.
- Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Identify the cause of mechanical failures and resolve issues through welding and fabrication.
- Examine finished welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with specifications. Repair defects if necessary.
- Operate cutting tools, grinders, drills, and other related equipment to support repairs.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Previous welding experience preferred

PAY: $18 - $25 per hour
WORK LOCATION: In person; Norman, OK
