We are comprised of a 49-bed hospital, various medical offices, home health, a birthing center and a vast scope of services located throughout The Dalles and the surrounding areas. There is something for everyone in this scenic community.br brJob Summary:br brProvides speech therapy services to patients with speech, language or swallowing disorders.br brJob Requirements:brbrEducation and Work Experience:br ul liMaster's Degree or foreign equivalent: Required/li /ulbrLicenses/Certifications:br ul liSpeech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required/li liCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required/li liAmerican Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred/li liValid Driver's License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older: Required/li /ulbrFacility Specific License/Certifications:br ul liAHA-BLS or ARC-BLS or AHA-CPR or ARC-CPR: Required/li liOR-SLP: Required/li liWA-SLP: Required/li /ulbrEssential Functions:br ul liAssesses and documents speech therapy data related to patient assessments, patient care needs, interventions and outcomes./li liIdentifies changes and trends throughout physical and emotional parameters./li liReviews treatment plans and assesses individual performances to modify, change or write new programs./li liMaintains documentation as required by law, establishment policy and administrative regulation./li liInstructs patients on ways to monitor speech and practice new skills./li liPerforms other job-related duties as assigned./li /ulbrOrganizational Requirements:br brAdventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
