We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Care Home Manager to lead a well-established, purpose-built nursing home in Partington, Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded leader to take full operational responsibility for a high-quality care service that provides nursing, dementia and residential care in a modern, welcoming environment.

Our client is looking for a strong leader who can continue to drive standards, maintain regulatory compliance and lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional person-centred care.

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities\n

    Provide strong leadership and clear direction to the staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion and person-centred care.

  • \n

    Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, maintaining high standards of care and governance.

  • \n
  • \n

    Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring safe, effective and high-quality service delivery.

  • \n
  • \n

    Manage the homes budget and financial performance, ensuring targets are met and resources are used efficiently.

  • \n
  • \n

    Develop and implement marketing and occupancy strategies to maintain full capacity and promote the home within the local community.

  • \n
  • \n

    Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and external stakeholders.

  • \n
  • \n

    Drive continuous improvement and work towards achieving high regulatory ratings.

Requirements\n
    \n
  • \n

    Previous experience managing a nursing home.

  • \n
  • \n

    NMC Registered Nurse with relevant post-registration experience.

  • \n
  • \n

    Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and a track record of achieving high inspection ratings.

  • \n
  • \n

    Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

  • \n
  • \n

    Experience managing budgets and delivering commercially successful care services.

  • \n
  • \n

    Passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred care.
