Senior Pension Administrator

We are currently recruiting for an exciting new role for a Senior Pension Administrator to join an expanding, innovative Investment platform firm on a hybrid basis from London. Reporting directly to the Pensions Director, you will serve as the first point of contact for technical pension and ISA queries from financial advisers and clients. You will provide expert guidance, support colleagues across Client Services, Investments, and Transfers, and ensure all pension administration activities and regulatory reporting obligations are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first line of support for technical pension and ISA queries.
\n
• Complete high-volume pension administration tasks accurately and efficiently.
\n
• Respond to adviser and client enquiries promptly via telephone and email.
\n
• Handle complex pension cases with confidence and authority.
\n
• Support the operations team with specialist technical knowledge.
\n
• Manage pension regulatory reporting requirements and submission deadlines.
\n
• Interpret HMRC, FCA, and other regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and documentation.
\n
• Partner with the Engineering team to automate and streamline pension administration activities through the platform.

Essential Experience and Skills

\n
• Significant experience working within a UK investment platform offering Pension, ISA, and GIA products.
\n
• Strong hands-on experience in complex pension administration, including:
\n
• Drawdown cases
\n
• Death benefit processing
\n
• Taxation and regulatory payments
\n
• Proven knowledge of HMRC pension and ISA reporting requirements, including:
\n
• Tax relief claims
\n
• Annual reporting submissions
\n
