Your Role\n

As an Apprentice Administrator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our office and supporting our fostering team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support, including: \n
      \n
    • Maintaining databases
    • \n
    • Producing professional emails and letters
    • \n
    • Processing incoming and outgoing post
    • \n
    • Photocopying and message taking
    • \n
    • Processing invoices
    • \n
  • \n
  • Supporting the social work team with data collection and filing
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate records of families and children placed
  • \n
  • Building supportive relationships with foster parents
  • \n
  • Liaising with Local Authority Social Workers and other professionals
  • \n
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety records
  • \n
  • Taking minutes of team meetings and distributing them
  • \n
  • Creating content for our online platforms and newsletters
  • \n
What We’re Looking For\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Basic administration skills
  • \n
  • GCSE/equivalent in maths and English (Level 2 Functional Skills can be completed alongside your qualification)
  • \n
  • Ability to manage your own workload and work independently
  • \n
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • \n
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • \n
  • Strong organizational skills
  • \n
  • A willingness to learn and seek guidance when needed
  • \n
\n
