Role Summary
\nThe Assistant Ecommerce Merchandiser / Stock Planner supports the day-to-day trading, stock management, and performance analysis of the footwear ecommerce category. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role suited to someone early in their merchandising or planning career who is looking to build strong foundations in ecommerce trading, forecasting, and stock management within a fashion footwear environment. The role works closely with the Senior Ecommerce Merchandiser & Stock Planner and supports the delivery of sales, margin, and stock targets through accurate reporting, stock actions, and trading support.

\nCore Responsibilities:
\nEcommerce Trading Support
\n• Support day-to-day ecommerce trading for the footwear category
\n• Maintain product availability and ensure accurate pricing online
\n• Support execution of promotions, markdowns, and clearance activity
\n• Monitor daily performance and flag risks or opportunities
\n• Support product launches and seasonal drops
\nStock Management & Planning Support
\n• Support stock planning and forecasting at style and size level
\n• Monitor sell-through, size availability, and weeks of cover
\n• Assist with intake tracking, replenishment, and allocation tasks
\n• Maintain stock trackers and planning tools (including WSSI support)
\n• Support markdown and exit processes
\nReporting & Analysis
\n• Produce daily and weekly trading and stock reports
\n• Maintain performance trackers and dashboards
\n• Support analysis of size curves, best sellers, and slow movers
\n• Help prepare insight for weekly trade and forecasting meetings
\n• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports
\nWays of Working & Process
\n• Follow established trading and planning processes
\n• Support continuous improvement of tools and ways of working
\n• Work closely with the Senior to ensure priorities are delivered on time
\n• Develop strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs and stock metrics
\nKey Skills & Experience:
\nEssential:
\n• Experience in an ecommerce merchandising, planning, or trading role (or strong internship/graduate experience)
\n• Strong numerical and analytical skills
\n• High attention to detail and accuracy
\n• Confident Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, basic modelling)
\n• Interest in fashion and footwear retail • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
\nDesirable:
\n• Experience working with size-level stock
\n• Exposure to ecommerce platforms or stock systems
\n• Experience supporting promotions or peak trading periods
\n• Retail or DTC fashion experience
