5-8 PQE Corporate Lawyer, Innovative Fintech

The Client:

An innovative PE backed fintech on an impressive growth trajectory are looking for a 5-8 PQE corporate lawyer to join their legal team. you will be responsible for a range of legal matters across the business.

Working autonomously, you will advise on a wide spectrum of corporate and commercial matters that are critical to the business's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide corporate and commercial law advisory support on a wide range of matters to the Company and all internal stakeholders including at senior/Board level.
\n
• Provide support on strategic corporate matters, governance, shareholder matters and ongoing corporate legal support
\n
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including partnership agreements, supplier agreements, tech, outsourcing vendor contracts, and customer terms and conditions.
\n
• Provide general advice on ad-hoc legal matters as they arise
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• The ideal candidate will be a 5-8 PQE Corporate lawyer, preferably with experience from a leading law firm, technology, media or financial services/regulated environment.
\n
• Applications from candidates from a private equity background would be welcome
\n
• Excellent contract negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
\n
• Proactive, detail oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
