Payroll Specialist
Job Description
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist
\nLocation - London, UK (hybrid)
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Need 2-5 years of Payroll experience \n
- Oversee the full payroll cycle for each payroll (input, validation, processing, and post-payroll activities) \n
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of the payroll for all employees on each of the 1-3 payrolls. \n
- Review payroll outputs and produce reports accordingly to different stakeholders. \n
- Ensure adherence to local tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements \n
- Manage audits and resolve compliance issues \n
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and system changes \n
- Act as the primary contact for HR, Finance, and external vendors – Pension Providers \n
- Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of employee queries \n
- Support business stakeholders with payroll insights and reporting \n
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation \n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency \n
- Support payroll system implementations or upgrades \n
Skills & Experience

- Strong experience in payroll processing and legislation (UK or relevant jurisdiction) \n
- Proven ability to manage multi-country payroll environments \n
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills \n
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capability \n
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills \n
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment \n
