Design Draughtsperson

The role:\n

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Draughtsperson to join our Mechanical Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have practical, hands-on manufacturing experience which can translate real-world production knowledge into high-quality technical drawings. Working closely with engineers as part of a project team, contributing to the design and development of innovative solutions. You will also be expected to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Engineers to create detailed design drawings and specifications.
\n
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
\n
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, as required.
\n
• Work independently to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• Proven experience as a Design Draughtsperson in the Mechanical Engineering sector.
\n
• Proficiency in Autodesk CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor).
\n
• Experience in the use of Teamcenter PLM would be advantageous.
\n
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
\n
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
\n
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
\n
• Prior knowledge of Subsea technologies is highly beneficial.
\n
