Head of Commercial Finance / Senior Finance Business Partner

\n SF Partners have an exciting & exclusive opportunity for a commercially focused finance leader to join an outstanding business & partner with the senior leadership team of a major business unit. This role will drive strategic decision-making, improve commercial performance, and deliver the financial insight needed to support growth, profitability, and long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities
\n - Act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership, influencing strategic and commercial decisions.
\n - Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modelling.
\n - Deliver insightful analysis across sales, margins, customer profitability, and business performance.
\n - Provide commercial support around pricing, tenders, contracts, investments, acquisitions, and growth opportunities.
\n - Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to drive data-led decision making.
\n - Identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives across the business.
\n - Lead and develop a high-performing Commercial Finance team.
\n - Ensure robust financial governance, controls, and reporting accuracy.
About You
\n - Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
\n - Significant experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Business Partnering within a large, complex organisation.
\n - Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving commercial performance.
\n - Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and business case development.
\n - Commercially minded with experience supporting pricing, profitability, and strategic investment decisions.
\n - Previous leadership experience with the ability to develop and mentor finance teams.
\n - Strong analytical skills with experience using BI tools such as Power BI
