Are you a hands-on Health & Safety professional with a passion for people, compliance, and customer experience? We’re looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to play a key role in the day-to-day operation of a premium leisure and wellness facility.

The role

As Health & Safety Manager, you’ll take ownership of operational safety, compliance, and facilities standards while leading by example:

• Act regularly as Duty Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations
\n
• Own and enforce health, safety, and compliance regulations across the site
\n
• Lead, train, and develop an internal team in line with safety and operational standards
\n
• Manage and coordinate self-employed contractors
\n
• Oversee facilities maintenance to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for members and staff
\n
• Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and excellent customer service
\n

What you’ll bring

\n
• IOSH / NEBOSH or another recognised Health & Safety qualification
\n
• Relevant Facilities Management qualification (HND, Diploma or similar)
\n
• Strong working knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
\n
• Experience managing facilities maintenance in a service-led environment
\n
• Proven people management experience (e.g. leisure, hospitality, retail, attractions, or sport)
\n
• A customer-focused mindset with confident leadership skills
\n
