Job Description

Due to internal promotion in our HR Operations team, Element has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Operations Coordinator to join our EMEAA HR Shared Services team, based in Edinburgh Park. The successful candidate will join a customer centric team that provides HR transactional support to Element’s UK and Ireland business operations and will work collaboratively with our HR Business Partner teams.

EMEAA HR Shared Services model centralises employee lifecycle transactional processing, leveraged through implementation, adoption and embedding of new and emerging technologies and workflow transformation, to deliver a dynamic and qualitative HR service provision.

Our new colleague will join us working 2 days at home / 3 days per week from our beautiful new office in Edinburgh Park where we enjoy state-of-the-art facilities including collaboration spaces, huddle rooms, open-concept layout, and abundant natural light. With fantastic links by train, tram, commuter routes, as well as having designated parking, we are well connected for colleagues across the central belt of Scotland.

Core Responsibilities:

    \n
  • Maintain core HR System (Dynamics 365) to ensure the timely and accurate processing of employee data including joiners, changes to role, leavers, changes to personal information, holidays and absences
  • \n
  • Respond to and action all HR transactional queries within agreed SLA timelines, escalating to relevant HR colleagues and line managers where appropriate
  • \n
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, variation letters and other employee lifecycle documentation
  • \n
  • Manage new starters and onboarding, including Right to Work documentation, collating new starter paperwork, and references
  • \n
  • Administer long service and recognition schemes, ensuring effective stock of materials
  • \n
  • Process both variable and fixed compensation change requests
  • \n
  • Support wider EMEAA HR Shared Services function with key project deliverables impacting HR Shared Services function
  • \n

What we're looking for...

  • Experience working in HR Administration (essential), including accurate processing of employee data and employee lifecycle transactional activities
  • \n
  • Knowledge of Human Resources and Employment Law (CIPD membership desirable)
  • \n
  • Comfortable in a growth culture with resilience and curiosity to adapt and grow
  • \n
  • Exemplary customer service skills – essential
  • \n
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a changing work environment
  • \n
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) and its’ use for reporting purposes
  • \n
  • Must have strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail
