About the Opportunity

Join a highly regarded specialist boutique law firm advising farming families, landowners, rural clients and complex private estates.

\n

This is a varied commercial property role, working alongside experienced solicitors and partners on transactions involving commercial, agricultural, rural and landed property interests.

Key Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Commercial property paralegal experience, ideally 12 months+
  • \n
  • Understanding of freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and lettings
  • \n
  • Experience with contracts, leases, titles, searches and enquiries
  • \n
  • Knowledge of the property process through exchange, completion and post-completion
  • \n
  • Strong client and professional stakeholder communication skills
  • \n
  • Experience with case management systems and the Land Registry portal
  • \n
  • Excellent organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
  • \n
  • Agricultural, rural or landed property experience advantageous
  • \n
  • CILEX, CLC, LPC or SQE progression welcomed
  • \n

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supporting commercial property transactions from instruction to completion
  • \n
  • Drafting contracts, leases, transfers and property correspondence
  • \n
  • Reviewing searches, titles, enquiries and commercial property documentation
  • \n
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents, lenders and surveyors
  • \n
  • Managing transaction dates, progress and client updates
  • \n
  • Preparing matters for exchange, completion and post-completion
  • \n
  • Managing straightforward matters under supervision
  • \n
  • Supporting more complex commercial, rural and agricultural property work
  • \n
