\nYour Role\n
\n

As a Chef Manager, you will:

\n
    \n
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the school kitchen
  • \n
  • Plan and deliver healthy, nutritious meals in line with school standards
  • \n
  • Manage kitchen staff, rotas, and daily workloads
  • \n
  • Monitor stock levels, ordering, and budget control
  • \n
  • Ensure food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen compliance are maintained at all times
  • \n
  • Deliver excellent food quality and presentation
  • \n
  • Build positive relationships with school staff, pupils, and stakeholders
  • \n
  • Support the smooth and efficient running of the catering service
  • \n
\n
\nWhat We're Looking For\n
\n
    \n
  • Previous experience as a Chef Manager, Catering Manager, Head Chef, or similar leadership role
  • \n
  • Experience working within schools, education catering, contract catering, or high-volume catering environments
  • \n
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • \n
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above preferred)
  • \n
  • Knowledge of food safety, allergens, and nutritional standards
  • \n
  • Current DBS check is advantageous, although we can assist with obtaining one if required
  • \n
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
  • \n
  • Own transport is beneficial due to client locations
  • \n
