We are recruiting for an experienced and customer focused Reception Manager to join a busy hospitality operation.

\n


\n

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills who enjoys delivering exceptional guest experiences and managing a high-performing reception team.

\n


\n

Working closely with the wider management team, you will take responsibility for the day to day running of the Reception department, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and consistently high standards.

\n


\n

Key Responsibilities

\n


\n

• Lead, motivate and manage the Reception team to deliver outstanding customer service.

\n


\n

• Oversee the daily operation of Reception, including guest arrivals, departures, reservations, enquiries and administration.

\n


\n

• Ensure efficient and professional check-in and check-out processes.

\n


\n

• Maintain high standards of service, quality and operational performance.

\n


\n

• Support compliance with Health & Safety procedures, company policies and relevant legislation.

\n


\n

• Work closely with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Events and Sales teams to ensure a seamless guest journey.

\n


\n

• Handle guest feedback, complaints and operational issues professionally, ensuring effective resolutions.

\n


\n

• Support Duty Manager responsibilities on a rota basis.

\n


\n

• Build strong working relationships with colleagues and management across the wider operation.

\n


\n

• Ensure accurate records are maintained in line with data protection requirements.

\n


\n

What We’re Looking For:

\n


\n

• Previous experience within a hotel, accommodation or hospitality reception environment.

\n


\n

• Proven leadership and people management experience.

\n


\n

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

\n


\n

• A proactive approach with the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.

\n


\n

• Experience managing guest enquiries, complaints and challenging situations.

\n


\n

• Strong customer service focus with a passion for creating memorable experiences.

\n


\n

• Good IT skills and experience using hotel or accommodation management systems.

\n


\n

• Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.

\n


\n

Working Hours

\n


\n

• Full-time position – 37 hours per week.

\n


\n

• 5 days out of 7, including weekends and late shifts.

\n


\n

• Working hours between 07:00 and 23:00.

\n


\n

• Duty Manager shifts included on a rota basis.

\n


\n
