Role OverviewWe're looking for an experienced Workday Financials Data Analyst to join a major Workday Financials transformation programme on an initial 6-month contract. You'll play a key role in supporting data migration, validation, reconciliation and reporting activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data throughout the programme lifecycle.\n
\nThis role requires someone who is hands-on, technically strong and confident working with Finance, IT and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data outcomes.\n
\nKey Responsibilities\n

\n
• Support Workday Financials data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
\n
• Analyse and validate financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity throughout the programme.
\n
• Work closely with Finance, IT and project teams to resolve data quality issues.
\n
• Support testing, cutover and deployment activities from a data perspective.
\n
• Produce and maintain documentation for data mapping, validation and reconciliation processes.
\n
• Collaborate with functional consultants, technical teams and business stakeholders.
\n
• Identify data risks and proactively recommend solutions.
\n
• Support reporting and data analysis across the Workday Financials platform.
\n

Essential Skills & Experience\n

\n
• Certified in Workday Financials (Essential).
\n
• Proven experience as a Workday Financials Data Analyst or similar role.
\n
• Strong experience supporting Workday Financials implementations or optimisation programmes.
\n
• Experience with data migration, data validation, reconciliation and cleansing within Workday Financials.
\n
• Strong understanding of Workday Financials data structures and reporting.
\n
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments.
\n

Desirable\n

\n
• Active SC Clearance, or eligibility to obtain SC Clearance.
\n
• Experience working within regulated or security-conscious environments.
\n
• Experience with Workday Financials reporting, EIBs and data loads.
\n
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
\n
• Experience supporting Finance transformation programmes.
\n
