\nAs a Senior Product Designer, you will manage the full journey of product development. Working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams, you will transform ideas into commercially successful, production-ready products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and innovation.

\nKey Responsibilities

- Lead product conceptualisation, design and estimation activities by collaborating with customers to understand requirements, commercial objectives and market trends. \n
- Manage the sample development process, ensuring quality standards and delivery deadlines are consistently achieved. \n
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining schedules, priorities and effective communication across stakeholders. \n
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle. \n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to source materials and create cost-effective, production-ready designs. \n
- Maintain and monitor quality assurance standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance. \n
- Mentor, train and support team members, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing. \n
- Create compelling client presentations, technical specifications and manufacturing documentation. \n
- Utilise CAD software, including Gerber Accumark, and Adobe Illustrator (or similar tools) for design development and sample delivery. \n
- Support the transition from sampling through to full production, ensuring seamless delivery via internal and external manufacturing partners. \n
About You
\n- \n
- Experience managing product lifecycles or leading design teams within a B2B manufacturing environment, such as automotive, defence, healthcare or similar sectors. \n
- A degree in Design or a related discipline, or working experience in a comparable role. \n
- Strong working knowledge of CAD software and Adobe Illustrator or equivalent design packages. \n
- Experience using MRP/CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. \n
- The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. \n
- A passion for product innovation and creative problem-solving. \n
- A flexible and proactive approach to supporting changing business priorities. \n
- A hands-on mindset with the willingness to contribute at every stage of a project when required. \n
