Location: North of England | Remote with Extensive Travel

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance + Travel Expenses

The Opportunity:

\n

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing team delivering CAPEX, infrastructure and deployment projects across the North of England.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager looking to progress their career within a fast-paced organisation. You will take ownership of contractor led build and deployment programmes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

\n

The role will suit individuals who thrive in a stakeholder-focused environment and have experience managing complex projects across construction, infrastructure and engineering-related sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery from planning and mobilisation through to implementation, commissioning and handover.
  • \n
  • Manage budgets, schedules, risks, dependencies and project governance.
  • \n
  • Oversee contractors, suppliers and framework agreements.
  • \n
  • Manage contractor performance, compliance, quality and health & safety standards.
  • \n
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders, third-party suppliers and delivery partners.
  • \n
  • Ensure projects are delivered against agreed time, cost and quality objectives.
  • \n
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior stakeholders.
  • \n

Essential Requirements:

\n
    \n
  • Proven track record delivering complex projects as a Project Manager.
  • \n
  • Strong project management experience within construction, infrastructure or engineering environments.
  • \n
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • \n
  • Experience managing contractors, deployment/build programmes and supplier relationships.
  • \n
  • Strong contract management experience, particularly within NEC3/NEC4 environments.
  • \n
  • Experience working within framework agreements.
  • \n
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • \n
  • Ambitious and career-driven, with a desire to progress within the business.
  • \n
  • PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent Project Management qualification desirable.
  • \n

Travel Requirements:

\n

This role involves significant travel across the North region, including Yorkshire, the North West, Midlands and Scotland.

\n
    \n
  • Frequent site visits across multiple project locations.
  • \n
  • Flexibility to travel as required to support project delivery.
  • \n
  • Potential overnight stays during busy deployment periods.
  • \n
  • Occasional night working where required.
  • \n
  • Travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses covered.
  • \n
