Founded in 1997 and now more than 150 people strong, they support equipment through its full lifecycle, from installation through to day-to-day maintenance. This role is based at a major new client site in Hemel Hempstead.The roleYou'll report to MotionTech's Maintenance Supervisor on site, keeping the client's automation running to the daily operational plan. The role covers planned maintenance and reactive fixes, logged through the site's Computerised Maintenance System, working closely with the client's operational team.What you'll doYou'll:Keep the automation running to hit the daily operational planCarry out planned preventative maintenance using the Computerised Maintenance SystemRespond to reactive faults quickly to keep downtime to a minimumLog spares, time, and machine or fault information on the CMMSMaintain good housekeeping across all automated areasFollow all health and safety requirements on siteWork solo or alongside the wider maintenance team, depending on the taskWhat you'll bringEssential:A basic understanding of engineering, mechanical or electrical, from work, training or a genuine interest in the fieldComfortable working a shift pattern that includes early and late shifts, Sunday to FridayUseful, not essential:Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Background working in a warehouse, distribution or fast-moving operational environmentA recognised engineering qualification, such as an NVQ or City and GuildsBenefits & cultureFinancial: £38,400 salary inclusive of shift pay, plus a pension and sick pay scheme.Development: Full training, and a genuine route into engineering if you're making a career change.Wellbeing: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Death in Service cover and company uniform.Working arrangementsLocation: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. Site-based, fully on-site.Contract: Permanent.
