\nCDS Labour are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing and distribution business based in Roche, Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver.\n
\nThis is a varied role offering long-term work with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.\n
\nThe Role\n

\n
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
\n
• Loading and unloading products.
\n
• Moving stock and materials between production and dispatch areas.
\n
• Supporting production when required.
\n
• Heavy manual handling as part of daily duties.
\n
• Cold food production and warehouse environment.
\n
• Full PPE provided/required (safety boots, gloves, coat, etc.).
\n
• Typical shifts are 6:00am 4:00pm

What we are looking for:\n
\nEssential:\n

\n
• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence and experience.
\n
• Good level of spoken and written English.
\n
• Experience with stock control, paperwork or dispatch operations.
\n
• Ability to undertake manual handling and work in a cold environment
\n

Desirable:\n

\n
• Full UK Driving Licence (preferred for combined FLT/Van Driver role).
\n
• Previous experience within food production, warehouse or distribution.
\n
• Flexible approach and willingness to support different departments.
\n
