What you'll be doing?\n
\nReady to make your mark on a major infrastructure project? Join our Overhead Lines Commercial Team in South West England, where you'll play a key role in maximising project profitability, managing commercial risk, and supporting the successful delivery of critical electrical transmission projects.\n
\nIts a hands-on, site-focused role, so youll be out where the action is (expect at least three days a week on-site).\n
\nWe're looking for someone who wants to do more than just manage the commercial aspects of a project. We want an individual who is excited by the opportunity to grow with the project, take ownership, and ultimately become a key leader in its successful delivery. What you'll bring?\n
- \n
- Experience within a Quantity Surveying, Commercial, or Cost Management role. \n
- A qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience. \n
- Strong understanding of contract costing, cost/value reconciliation, and subcontract management. \n
- Good working knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts. \n
- Experience managing site records, variations, valuations, claims, and final accounts. \n
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Strong analytical and financial awareness. \n
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. \n
- Experience within the Electrical Transmission, Overhead Lines, utilities, or wider infrastructure sector would be a real advantage. \n
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel or stay away when required. \n
- A proactive mindset and the ambition to grow with the project, take on increasing responsibility, and provide commercial leadership throughout the project lifecycle. \n
