Enterprise Architect

Sanderson Recruitment are working with a rapidly growing cloud, infrastructure and managed services organisation that is investing heavily in modern technology, automation and large-scale transformation programmes.They are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to take ownership of a major, strategically important customer environment. This is a senior, customer-facing role where you'll provide architectural leadership, guide technology strategy, and act as the key link between technical delivery teams and senior customer stakeholders.The RoleYou'll be responsible for:Owning the architectural relationship for a large enterprise customerProviding technical leadership across infrastructure, platforms and managed servicesLeading modernisation, transformation and service improvement initiativesRepresenting your organisation within architecture, design and governance forumsProducing and reviewing high and low-level designsEnsuring solutions remain aligned to standards, operational best practice and commercial objectivesWorking closely with delivery, operations and senior customer stakeholders to drive successful outcomesWhat We're Looking ForProven experience as an Enterprise, Solution or Lead ArchitectStrong infrastructure knowledge across compute, storage, networking, backup and disaster recoveryExperience delivering large-scale transition, migration or transformation programmesAbility to engage confidently with senior technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience operating within architecture governance and change management environmentsKnowledge of cloud, hybrid infrastructure and automation/IaC approachesStrong commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to decision-makingNice to HaveExperience within managed services, cloud service providers or complex enterprise environmentsPublic sector or regulated industry experienceFamiliarity with frameworks such as TOGAF, ISO 27001 or similar governance standardsWhat's on OfferOpportunity to influence technology strategy within a high-growth organisationExposure to large-scale transformation programmesOngoing professional development and career progressionThe chance to play a key role in shaping a growing architecture functionCompetitive benefits packageIf you're an experienced architect who enjoys combining technical leadership, stakeholder engagement and complex transformation work, we'd like to hear from you.Reasonable Adjustments:Respect and equality are core values to us.
