Adecco are pleased to be recruiting for Police Staff Investigators (PIP 2) to work within the Merseyside Police Force
\nLocation: Liverpool & Surrounding Area's
\nContract Type: Temporary
\nHourly Rate: £17.66 per hour
\nWorking Pattern: Full Time, 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
\nEnd Date: April 2027
\n**Please note this role will be subject to Police Vetting and you have to have been residing within the UK for a Minimum of 5 Years**

\nKey Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough investigations of serious crimes in line with legislation and policies. \n
- Interview suspects and witnesses with utmost professionalism, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines. \n
- Exercise designated powers of an investigator as authorised, including warrant applications and evidence management. \n
- Prepare detailed case files and documentation to support prosecutions, ensuring legal compliance and accuracy. \n
- Collaborate with various internal departments and external agencies to gather information and provide support. \n
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in investigative practises to enhance community trust and satisfaction. \n
What We’re Looking For:

- Proven experience in investigative roles with strong interpersonal and communication skills. \n
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple investigations simultaneously. \n
- High level of initiative, problem-solving skills, and a flexible approach to work. \n
- Familiarity with legislation related to criminal investigations and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. \n
- A full driving licence is desirable. \n
