Employment Partner

Oculus are working alongside a Top 50 UK law firm that following significant investment into its Leamington Spa office, the firm is entering an exciting new phase of growth and is now looking to appoint a Head of Employment / Employment Partner to lead and develop its local Employment offering.

The focus is on finding an experienced leader who can provide direction, inspire a team and help shape the next chapter of the practice.

You will play a key role in driving the growth of the Employment offering across the Midlands whilst benefiting from the support, expertise and resources of a substantial national team.

The role will involve:

• Advising a broad range of employer clients on contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including Employment Tribunal litigation and HR advisory work
\n
• Acting for organisations across sectors including education, healthcare, defence, technology and, , higher education
\n
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while supporting business development initiatives across the region
\n
• Leading, mentoring and developing junior lawyers whilst working closely with colleagues across Employment, HR and Immigration
\n

The successful candidate will:

• Be an experienced Employment Solicitor with strong respondent-side experience and a genuine interest in the advisory and HR aspects of employment law
\n
• Have leadership experience, strong commercial awareness and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients
\n
• Be excited by the opportunity to take a leading role in the continued growth and development of the practice
\n
