Job Description
Maintenance Team Leader, £56,500, Old Leake, Boston, 4 on 4 off D/N, 7am till 7pm.
\nOTE of plus £62,000 thanks to overtime (paid at £30.47 per hour). Bi-annual company bonus scheme. After probation of 3 months and then again after 6 months of service.
\nThe Opportunity
\nWe are recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader to join a large, well-invested site. £24 million has been invested recently updating existing machinery and implementing new production lines. Increasing production by 50%. This is a high-performing facility with state-of-the-art machinery and an experienced engineering team. You'll benefit from an excellent rota that allows for regular long weekends off while earning a strong base salary and enjoying long-term job security.
\nThe Role
\nAs a Maintenance Team Leader, you'll work with a range of machinery including:
\n- \n
- Large mixers and slicers \n
- Ovens, extruders and palletisers \n
The site is 70% reactive and 30% PPM, including a tablet system for job tracking. This role places a strong emphasis on both electrical and mechanicalmaintenance and repair. As a Maintenance Team Leader You'll need to be confident working with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, chains, sensors, and control panels etc. Experience fault finding via PLC is also needed.
\nThe Person We're Looking For
\nTo succeed in this role as a Maintenance Team Leader, you'll need:
\n- \n
- A strong background in maintenance within manufacturing environments \n
- Experience working on both mechanical and electrical components whilst abiding to H&S regulations \n
- Confidence with strip-downs, rebuilds, and reactive maintenance \n
- An NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in engineering (ex-Forces welcome) \n
- A true leader within maintenance in a manufacturing environment \n
