At Martha H School, located in the heart of Wigan, Lancashire, we are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our vibrant community. This is a full-time, term-time only position with a competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £39,520 based on your experience.

Your Role\n

As a SEN Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, addressing the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils.
\n
• Support the class team in creating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
\n
• Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure their needs are met.
\n
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom times, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
\n
• Build positive relationships with pupils to drive interaction and enhance learning outcomes.
\n

What We’re Looking For\n

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
\n
• A suitable degree-level qualification
\n
• Previous successful teaching experience
\n
• Experience working with pupils with SEND in an educational setting
\n
• Strong behavior management skills
\n
• A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn
