London | Competitive salary package & benefits

\n

4 days in the office per week

\n

\n

We are partnering with a highly regarded, family-backed investment business to appoint an experienced HR Manager.

\n

\n

Reporting to an experienced Senior HR Lead, your initial priorities will include:

\n
    \n
  • Advising on complex and contentious employee relations matters
  • \n
  • Developing employee handbooks and a coherent suite of core HR policiesHelping individual businesses tailor group principles to their workforces
  • \n
  • Conducting remuneration benchmarking within the housebuilding sector
  • \n
  • Reviewing STIP and LTIP arrangements using historical and market data
  • \n
  • Providing practical guidance on reward and benefits
  • \n
  • Using HR data and metrics to make clear recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • \n
\n

\n

You will operate as a trusted adviser rather than taking over local HR delivery. Success will depend on your ability to assess the evidence, challenge constructively and recommend an approach that is legally sound, commercially practical and appropriate for the individual business.

\n

\n

We are interested in speaking with candidates who offer:

\n
    \n
  • 8-10 years’ HR experience
  • \n
  • Strong UK employee relations expertise
  • \n
  • Experience of salary benchmarking, incentive plans or wider reward activity
  • \n
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • \n
  • Experience within a multi-site, multi-business or decentralised environment
  • \n
  • The credibility to influence senior leaders and experienced HR professionals
  • \n
  • A measured, organised and dependable approach
  • \n
  • Resilience and adaptability when priorities change
  • \n
\n

\n

What's on offer?

\n
    \n
  • £80,000–£90,000 base salary
  • \n
  • Competitive bonus
  • \n
  • 9% non-contributory pension
  • \n
  • 35 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays

Attendance at the London office from Monday to Thursday is required, alongside occasional travel to portfolio-company sites.

\n

\n

Experience in housebuilding, hospitality or another consumer-facing, operational sector as well as within professional/financial services would be particularly relevant.
