Senior Business Controller

Mapped recruitment is partnering with one of the most recognised names in global luxury fashion, with a heritage spanning over a century and a presence in more than 45 countries.

This is a pivotal, decision support role sitting at the centre of the North Europe business, covering the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands. The role is commercial and product-focused rather than a traditional accounting position, and works directly with the Retail President for North Europe and the wider leadership team to shape strategy, planning and performance across the store network.

You'll act as the key link between the numbers and the business, taking financial and operational data and turning it into insight that senior leadership can act on. This is a business partnering role first, with a controlling lens second.

This isn't a back office finance role. It's commercial, product led and retail focused, working directly with the President for North Europe and the leadership team to shape decisions on performance, planning and store strategy.

📊 Owning P&L insight, budgeting and forecasting, translating the numbers into decisions the business can act on

🏬 Analysing performance by store, product, category and country, and partnering with Retail and Merchandising to close the gaps

🌍 Working across five markets, with real influence on store openings, relocations and business plans

🤝 Business partnering across Retail, Merchandising, CRM, HR and Operations, not just Finance

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿

'14;️ Strong commercial, strategy and business partnering experience in a similar position

'14;️ Luxury experience is a bonus, not a requirement but experience in a product/consumer led environment is an essential

'14;️ The presence and confidence to hold your own with senior leadership who enjoy a robust discussion

'14;️ Strong Excel, SAP and Power BI skills

'14;️ Italian is a nice to have, not essential

📍 Old Bond Street, London. Hybrid working, 3 days in the office

💰Base depending on experience, plus 10% annual bonus
