At Thrive Education, we're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join our growing supply team, supporting primary schools across Gloucester.

Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant, a Learning Support Assistant, an SEN Teaching Assistant, or someone with transferable experience working with children, we want to help you find work that suits your skills, availability and career goals.

What does supply work look like?

No two weeks are the same. You could be:

• Supporting a Reception class one day and Year 6 the next.
\n
• Providing 1:1 support for a child with additional needs.
\n
• Working alongside class teachers to help pupils reach their full potential.
\n
• Covering planned absences or stepping in to support schools at short notice.
\n
• Building relationships with local schools that could lead to long-term or permanent opportunities.
\n
• Whether you're looking for one day a week or a full-time schedule, we'll work around your availability.
\n

We're looking for people who:

\n
• Have experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting.
\n
• Are confident, adaptable and happy to work in different school environments.
\n
• Have a positive attitude and genuinely enjoy helping children learn and develop.
\n
• Can travel to schools across Gloucester.
\n
• Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
\n
