Our client, a well-established Main Contractor based in Leicestershire, is going through a period of significant growth having secured over £80m of new work in the last six weeks alone, with fresh tenders coming in thick and fast. As a result, they're looking to strengthen their Pre-Construction Team with the addition of an experienced Estimator.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a strong forward order book and genuine career progression on offer, working across a varied mix of Industrial & Logistics, Sports & Leisure, and Mixed Use schemes.Estimator roles & responsibilities:Production of tender Bills of Quantities and pricing documents, pricing from first principlesAnalysis of subcontractor and supplier quotationsProducing scopes of works for design teams and specialist consultants on design and build projectsValue engineering ideas and solutions to meet client budgetsProduction of final bid documents and quality submissionsWorking across a range of contract types including D&B, Bills of Quantities, and NECManaging the tender supplier/subcontractor databaseDetailed appraisal of incoming tenders and risk registers presented to the boardEstimator experience required:Solid background as an Estimator with a Main Contractor, ideally within the East Midlands regionTrack record pricing projects across a range of values, from circa £5mup to £15mComfortable working in a high-pressure environment, managing multiple live tenders at onceStrong commercial acumen and confident presenting at tender interviews/settlementsRelevant construction qualification (HNC/degree or equivalent)Why Apply?
