HGV Class 2 Driver

iRecruit4 are currently seeking reliable and experienced Class 2 Drivers to join our clients delivery operation based in Swindon. This role offers consistent Monday to Friday work with long-term opportunities available.The position involves multi-drop deliveries across the South West, so drivers must be confident with manual handling, load security and customer interaction.Hours, Pay & Benefits: Monday to Friday, start time 06:00amLong-term ongoing work£17.30 per hourOvertime after 40 hours: £21.82 per hourWeekly payEmployee benefits packageMonthly voucher incentivesPension contributionFree onsite parkingWellness and healthcare supportDuties for Class 2 Driver: Completing multi-drop deliveries to business customers across Swindon and surrounding areasDelivering a range of products safely and efficiently to customersDriving a Class 2 box vehicle and ensuring all loads are secured correctlyOperating a tail lift to assist with safe loading and unloading of goodsLoading and unloading deliveries safely, ensuring all items are handled correctlyEnsuring goods are delivered on time while providing excellent customer serviceCarrying out daily vehicle checks in line with legal and company standardsCompleting delivery paperwork and POD documentation accuratelyMaintaining high standards of professionalism when representing the companyEnsuring all loads are secure and compliant with transport regulationsRequirements for Class 2 Driver: Valid Class 2 (Category C) licenceCPC qualification and Digital Tachograph CardMinimum 2 years Class 2 driving experienceOver 25 years old (insurance purposes)No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN convictions)Experience driving Class 2 vehicles and completing multi-drop deliveriesExperience using a tail lift is preferredComfortable with customer interaction and manual handlingGood communication and time management skillsIf you are interested in this opportunity, please click apply today or call 01793 987470 and ask to speak with Shannon.TPBN1_UKTJ
