Mentor Youth Engagement & WellbeingMake a Lasting DifferenceWe have an amazing opportunity! are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes? We are looking for a dedicated Learner Coach to provide one-to-one guidance, pastoral support, and mentoring to learners throughout their learning journey.This rewarding role is ideal for someone with experience working with young people, vulnerable individuals, or those facing barriers to education, training, or employment.The RoleAs a Learner Coach, you will provide personalised support that enables learners to remain engaged, achieve their goals, and progress into further learning or employment. You will manage your own caseload, identify individual support needs, and work closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver outstanding learner support.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support a caseload of learners from enrolment through to successful progression.Deliver high-quality pastoral care, wellbeing support, and learner mentoring.Identify barriers to learning and implement tailored support plans.Conduct learner interviews, enrolments, inductions, and ongoing reviews.Build positive relationships that motivate learners to achieve their full potential.Maintain accurate learner records and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.Monitor learner progress and attendance, implementing interventions where required.Act as a safeguarding point of contact, managing concerns and referrals in line with safeguarding procedures.Work collaboratively with external agencies and referral partners to support learner progression.Signpost learners to additional services including wellbeing, counselling, childcare, and learning support where appropriate.What We're Looking ForEssentialExperience supporting vulnerable young people or individuals facing barriers.Experience working with unemployed young people or within employability, education, youth work, or community support.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Strong organisational and case management abilities.Knowledge of safeguarding and Prevent responsibilities.Ability to motivate, inspire, and engage young people.Level 4 Learning Coach qualification or willingness to work towards it.DesirableBackground in Youth Work, Social Care, Careers Advice, Employability, or Education.Experience supporting government-funded youth or employability programmes.Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) qualification or willingness to achieve.Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.What's on OfferSalary of £25,000 £27,000Full-time, permanent positionGenerous annual leave entitlementHealthcare and wellbeing benefitsLife assuranceEmployee reward and recognition schemesRetail and gym discountsOngoing professional development and funded qualificationsSupportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunities for career progressionIf you're passionate about helping young people overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve meaningful outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today to begin a rewarding career where you can make a real difference every day.TPBN1_UKTJ
