Job Title: Information Security Cloud Consultant / Architect - AWS & AzureDay Rate: £600 per day - Outside IR35 / Limited Company Duration: 3+ monthsBased: Hybrid - Liverpool Start Date: ASAPRole We are seeking an experienced Information Security Cloud Consultant / Architect for an initial 3 month engagement, supporting the design, assurance and implementation of secure multi-cloud environments across AWS and Microsoft Azure. The role will provide specialist security architecture consultancy and independent design assurance for new cloud-based services and solutions, including cloud environments supporting the client's developing AI strategy, AI services and data platforms.Responsibilities\n

• Provide security architecture consultancy across AWS and Azure projects.
\n
• Review and assure cloud solution designs against security standards, policies and architecture principles.
\n
• Develop secure reference architectures, patterns and guardrails for multi-cloud environments.
\n
• Support the secure design of environments for AI services, data platforms, experimentation and production AI workloads.
\n
• Conduct security design reviews across cloud applications, services and infrastructure.
\n
• Identify security risks and provide practical, proportionate remediation recommendations.
\n
• Embed security-by-design principles throughout project delivery.
\n
• Ensure effective integration between cloud-native security services and existing enterprise security capabilities.
\n
• Produce clear security architecture, assurance and governance outputs.
\n
• Work closely with enterprise architects, cloud engineers, project teams, third-party suppliers and managed service providers.

Experience\n

• Strong Cloud Security Architecture experience within complex enterprise environments.
\n
• In-depth security experience across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
\n
• Multi-cloud security architecture, controls, patterns and guardrails.
\n
• Cloud IAM, network security, data protection, encryption, logging and monitoring.
\n
• Cloud-native security tooling and enterprise security integration.
\n
• Security architecture and assurance for cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure.
\n
• Strong security risk assessment and remediation experience.
\n
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
\n

Desirable\n

\n
• Security architecture experience supporting AI/ML platforms and services.
\n
• Securing AI workloads, data platforms and AI data pipelines.
\n
• AWS and Azure AI services.
\n
• Cisco enterprise security technologies.
\n
• Zero Trust architecture and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
\n
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Security, Azure Security, CISSP, CCSP or SABSA.
