Project Manager
Job Description
CRM Implementation Project Manager - 9 month FTC - £55K-£65K pro rata - Hybrid London - **Third Sector Essential**
\n\nThe role:
\n\nWe're looking for a CRM Implementation Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new fundraising CRM platform, from planning through to go-live and adoption. This is a hands-on delivery role: you'll own the project plan, manage stakeholders across fundraising, data, IT and finance, and make sure the system actually gets used once it's live.
\n\nYou'll need to have done this before, ideally more than once, in a charity or NFP setting where fundraising data and donor relationships sit at the centre of the business case.
\n\nWhat you'll be doing:
\n\nOwning end-to-end delivery of a CRM implementation: scoping, vendor/implementation partner management, migration planning, testing, training and go-live
\nManaging the project plan, budget and risk log, and reporting progress to senior stakeholders and any programme board
\nWorking closely with fundraising, supporter care, finance and data teams to translate operational needs into system requirements
\nLeading data migration planning from the legacy system (e.g. Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, Dynamics, ThankQ or similar) into the new platform, working with data leads on cleansing and mapping
\nCoordinating UAT and managing the implementation partner or vendor relationship day to day
\nBuilding the training and change management plan so staff actually adopt the new system, not just tolerate it
\nIdentifying and managing risks, dependencies and scope creep before they become problems
\nPost go-live: managing hypercare, resolving issues and handing over cleanly to BAU support
\n\nWhat you'll need:
\n\nProven track record delivering CRM implementations, ideally fundraising or donor CRM (Raiser's Edge, Salesforce NPSP, Microsoft Dynamics, ThankQ, Beacon or similar)
\n**Third sector experience is essential** You need to understand how fundraising teams work, what a donor journey looks like, and why data quality matters to income generation, not just IT hygiene
\nSolid project management fundamentals: planning, budgeting, RAID logs, governance and reporting, whether that's PRINCE2, Agile or just knowing how to run a project properly
\nExperience managing external vendors or implementation partners, and holding them to account
\nComfortable working with senior stakeholders and translating between technical delivery teams and non-technical fundraising staff
\nData migration experience, understanding of GDPR as it applies to donor and supporter data
\nStrong communication skills; able to keep a steady hand on a project that touches most of the organisation
