Grounds Maintenance Operative

Your new companyWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a busy team working on behalf of a leading social housing contractor across Wythenshawe and the surrounding areas.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening, or estate services experience who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining communal areas to a high standard.Your new role

• Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers
\n
• Hedge trimming and shrub maintenance
\n
• Strimming and edging grassed areas
\n
• Weed control and spraying (where qualified)
\n
• Litter picking and removal of fly-tipped waste
\n
• Maintenance of communal gardens and green spaces
\n
• Leaf clearance and seasonal grounds maintenance
\n
• Pruning trees, bushes, and planting areas
\n
• Ensuring pathways, bin stores, and external areas are kept tidy
\n

What you'll need to succeed

\n
• Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening, or estate services experience
\n
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred
\n
• Experience using mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, and other grounds maintenance equipment
\n
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
\n
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
\n
